Can I scan a QR code without a camera? ▼
Yes. Use the Upload Image tab to scan a QR code from any image file saved on your device, including screenshots and downloaded images.
Is my camera feed uploaded anywhere? ▼
No. Scanning happens entirely in your browser. Your camera feed and any uploaded images never leave your device.
Why does the camera not work? ▼
Camera access requires HTTPS and explicit browser permission. If denied, go to your browser settings, find camera permissions for this site, set it to Allow, and refresh the page.
What can a QR code contain? ▼
QR codes can store URLs, plain text, phone numbers, Wi-Fi network credentials, email addresses, contact cards (vCard), and more. The type and content are detected and displayed automatically.
